Just joined the S23 Ultra club a month ago, switching from an iPhone 11 Pro Max using Smart Switch. Initial excitement dampened by persistent battery issues lasting for about 4 weeks (4-5h screen-on time with light use). Seeking advice across forums, I encountered a sea of conflicting opinions – some blamed my usage, while others insisted there was no problem.

Tried various solutions without success: Put apps to sleep Disabled location and Bluetooth Set performance mode to light Cleared caches Kept brightness low

Frustration peaked until I stumbled upon an old Reddit comment advising against using Smart Switch during a reset. Skeptical but desperate, I gave it a shot. Surprisingly, it worked wonders! Now enjoying an impressive battery life of over 8 hours daily (easily exceeding 10 with light use).

Key takeaway: For those grappling with S23 Ultra battery issues, it’s not necessarily the phone’s fault (unless defective). Don’t solely rely on waiting for the battery to “learn” your usage – keep trying different solutions. In my case, avoiding Smart Switch during a reset was the game-changer.

Best of luck to everyone sorting out their battery concerns!

Now I’m worried. I switched an iPhone 8 to the S23 using Smart Switch.
What will be the cause of this problem? Does it have any iPhone settings?

I didn’t see any problem yet, but I’d want to avoid.
