      i wonder if the nature and specialization of your professional work is what allows you to be like that with employers, i imagine the local cashier at mcdonalds doesn’t have that kind of bargaining power

        Be good at your job and you will always have that type of bargaining power.

        Within reason. No a McDonald’s worker can’t say I want a base of 300k. They don’t product that type of revenue. I can because I do.

        That’s what limits the wages of places like McDonald’s. They can only pay x because they charge x.

        I am in good spot as I can demand high wages and produce the results they’re paying for.
