You think Microsoft has no assets in Europe? Asset seizure is a sure fire way to get paid when companies refuse to cooperate.

No, they do have assets in Europe.

If Microsoft were to fully exit Europe the issue issue is the services leaving.

What will Europe do without Azure/any Microsoft cloud based system that most companies use? What happenes when the office suite disconnected from Europe and millions of people/business’s can’t access any of their stores files, access emails or even there windows account, or even contact their coworkers/bosses?

      Chaos happens.

      Edit: sentence structure.

Oh no, it’s the consequences of my actions by putting all my eggs in one basket and giving a corporation incredible leverage.

Maybe they should derisk their infrastructure then…

True, but not the point I was making.

Sure if that happened it would definitely hurtsl businesses, but it would hurt the individual alot more. Inside and outside of work.

If it’s a choice between abandoning assets or going bankrupt I think they’d choose abandoning assets. The only exception to that rule is if they have the majority of their company there and that’s just not the case being an American company.
