Feb 12 (Reuters) - Donald Trump on Monday endorsed North Carolina Republican Party Chair Michael Whatley as the next chair of the Republican National Committee and his daughter-in-law Lara Trump as co-chair, moving to cement his grip over the organization as he closes in on the presidential nomination.

    @CoffeeAddict At least it’s only state RNC money. Still beyond reproach but if fools elect thieves, I have a hard time being sympathetic.

    I wonder how the wealthy donors will react. Michigan GOP didn’t even have a Trump to steal money, yet they still imploded, with wealthy donors no longer giving.
