You might remember my prior post about Lime Reader:

I have received quite a lot of similar feedback and frankly, I am now deciding whether I should switch from my custom protocol way to instead using the ActivityPub instead. Because then, all the existing users on ActivityPub can use my site too similar to how Lemmy, Kbin work. I think that would make it easier to bring over users as well as abundance of already existing content.

Note that if I did do this, the existing content on the site (there’s very very little anyway) would be lost and users would need to create new accounts.
