Please be positive Ive gone through quite a bit and I just want to know what to expect.

My goal is to get a position as a hardware engineer. I have a long way to go before I start even applying but Im a bit worried because even though my charge is expunged it is a non-violent misdemeanor sex crime and Im afraid although Ill have my PHD in Electrical engineering from one of the prestigious schools (Cal Tech, Oregon State University, USC, MIT, etc. ) and some experience that came with my degree it will still show up, even though it will be around 10 years+ when Im done and applying. Does Intel look at expunged 10+ year convictions?

thank you in advance for the help.
