Any good modern RPGS or JRPGS that scratch the golden sun itch? Golden Sun was my first JRPG and one of the first games I ever played when I got a second hand Gameboy advanced around 2009, it set the bar so high and it holds up wonderfully to this day. I replay it every two years or so, but I’d love to experience it over again fresh.
I’ve done some Octopath Traveller, honestly the graphics seemed a bit much to me and hurt my eyes after a while.
I’ve only done the intro to Chrono Trigger.
Aside from those two I haven’t really delved into other JRPGS. I’ve looked but many just seem off for various reasons.
