I’ve had a 1080 Palit Super Jetstream for 7 years now, the card has never let me down, but the constant Witcher crashes on DX12 are starting to stress me out, I use the video card mostly for graphics work. I upgraded my computer half a year ago, everything except the graphics card (i 12700K, 48 Gb, ASUS ROG Strix Z690). I’ve been eyeing the 4070 for half a year now, I benefit from not having to change my 750 watt power supply, also the 8 pin power supply is convenient, and my case includes exactly the dual version, everything seems to add up, but there is one little thing… price. I can’t believe that some hardware in a computer costs in my country 750-800 dollars for a 4070. Do you think it’s worth skipping this generation while nvidia behaves so brazenly? Maybe the 7800 xt will be a game changer? Anyone else sitting on a 1080 gtx waiting?
