I’ve recently switched to Linux (about half a month) and I’m starting to get used to it. A few days ago I decided I would like to play apex legends and went through the installation process. Was unable to get past the intro to the game without a crash, but fixed by updating steam proton. I am able to play the game now and get in matched but I get HORRID fps and game freezes alot, Audio cuts in and out, character models take forever to load. I will take any information I can get, just please understand I am not a linux wizard lol

Running geforce1080 ti 8 gigs of ram (Lil bit too poor for more at the moment, will fix soon) Sadly 1 tb hard drive (will definitely fix soon) 4 core i3-9100 (I’m gonna be honest no idea why I have this dookie cpu, gonna replace)

Running an app in the background called cpupower-gui and my dns is set to cloud flare.
