HoleyLight sounds like what you’re searching for. I’ve never personally tried it though.
I used to use this one…but for some reason I just never found any of the settings made it as noticeable and useful as an actual notification LED so I just switched to using an always on display.

Not really. If you can have cutouts for speakers and cameras then you could also have cutouts for LEDs, or even combine it with the camera or speaker cutout.
