Especially the smaller ones, I just want to kiss them! I swoon whenever I read about/see their courtship and mating rituals. They just go ALL out in their courtship rituals and I think it’s freaking adorable.
We are autistic and have a mostly aesthetic bird special interest. Birds are cute and cool and pretty. They can be sexy but we don’t have a particularly interest in them sexually
