I consider using an ad-blocker a necessity to navigate the internet nowadays, both for sanity’s sake, and safety as well.
Does your device not allow the use of an adblocker? I’m not sure what the state of that is on Apple devices. But if you’re using something that does allow an adblocker, I would highly recommend Ublock Origin.
I have vanced on my phone and add block on my PC, but having to go in and copy the link while the add is playing already turns me off. Lemmy from my phone for the most part.
