It has been said that most human beings who work can only really do four hours of focused work in any given day.
Anything else is too much for the brain.
You know, the kind of work that requires sustained cognitive effort. Things like graphic design, writing, planning, financial accounting, etc.
I’ve been thinking hmm, I’d love to work four hours per day. I can’t afford it for the moment.
You know when you say this to some people? They snap and say “Well we’d all like to work part-time, wouldn’t we” and they might tut at the same time.
My response to that is OK, INSTEAD OF SAYING 'THAT’S JUST THE WAY IT IS", LET"S FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT FKING HAPPEN!"
This attitude applies more broadly, too. People say “Oh well, that’s just the way it is”. I don’t care. It can be made to be different.
Anyone else feel the same way?
