There’s been a fair bit of different cards over the course of the TCG’s lifespan, so I’m curious what folks have gravitated to the most!

For myself? I think I prefer FA Trainer cards or Illustration cards such as those from the Trainer Gallery or Illustration Rares in SV. If regular FA Pokemon cards were a bit more like FA Trainers, I’d likely be more drawn to them.

    My favorites are the full art Tag Team cards from Sun and Moon! Hoping the prices start coming down soon so I can get more of them though…

    I really love the light/dark versions of Pokémon from Team Rocket, Team Rocket Returns, and Neo Destiny. I especially love the ones that have both light/dark versions like Wigglytuff.

    I also love the Trainer Gallery and the Galarian Gallery cards. I don’t have many, but I want to buy more singles of the GG cards - some are so beautiful!!

    I agree with what you said about if the FA Pokemon cards were more like the FA Trainers.

      I haven’t really gotten into retro collecting all that much unfortunately, so I don’t have a whole lot of experience with the light/dark cards. That said, they do seem pretty cool!
