Speaking of archiving, I hope that The Internet Archive lasts forever.
In some ways, as much as I hate Google, YouTube is at least one form of archiving that’s going to last.
I’ve teamed up with other archivists trying to procure lost media and uploading it while sources like VHS, beta, el cheapo CDs/DVDs are still functional. Just today I was able to come across a commercial (while rummaging through old recordings) I forgot existed and it suddenly brought back memories. 😆
