it was a bad mistake but it was a subjetive call and that is where i think refs deserve some leeway. The liverpool spurs decision was an abolsute atrocity and i feel like teams have been jumping on the bandwagon of that poor decision to pile pressure on refs when they disagree with a decision.

i guess the issue with the over use of stats in the game is people do not know how to think critically about the stats they are using. maybe think a little bit about the point you are trying to make and you will see it is ridiculous

I know you said not to judge but Shearer being overrated is lunacy. The guys was fast, strong, could head it in, fire from distance, just an all round top baller. I honestly think he would cut it in the modern game and i think you have a bias because he played for newcastle and looked quite ordinary.

For me it’s Rashford. I feel like he had such an explosive start to his career and has never seemed to push on from his potential. A somewhat decent player on his day but imo is no where near the level for international football or playing for a top 4 side

i think the penalty area needs to be reduced and penalties should be given when the foul has stopped a goal scoring opportunity. basically anything to get rid of penalties for a handball right in the corner of the area (unless they block a shot on goal)

The fact that Hendo is probably going to the Euros and Raheem isn’t is a travesty in my book. I know they are in completely different positions and we are relatively stacked in Raheem’s position but he provides great leadership qualities and has been a proven game winner for England. I think these big moment players are so important in tournament football
