But to get a wall to break with the standards we have now takes an exponential amount more processing power because not only do you need the walls to break “realistically” but it also has to render the super nice graphics on each little piece of that wall break.

All of this is the type of arguments reddit takes against the supposed “male rape culture” that you made fun of them for. Do you see the parallels?

That’s the real fear of AI. Not that it’s stealing art jobs or whatever. But that all it takes is for a politician or business man to claim something is AI, no matter how corroborated it is and throw the whole investigation for a loop. It’s not a thing now, because no one knows about advanced AI (except for internet bubbles) and it’s still thought that you can easily differentiate images, but imagine even 5 years from, or 10.

Am I crazy or is 53% not a wild number? For one thing, I play multiplayer games all the time but I much prefer my best single player experience to my best multiplayer experience I would absolutely identify as preferring single player games despite probably playing more multiplayer games.

For another thing, 53% is pretty low, about half of gamers prefer single player. If anything that number should be higher cause I bet the amount of single player games dwarfs multiplayer games (this also would include single player campaigns in multiplayer games).

Well yeah, and back in the day that meant quality because it took a big budget to even get games to work well. Nowadays it can be relatively cheap to make good games so that big budget gets put into graphics or embezzled away.

Isn’t it crazy that nowadays “AAA” means it’s probably going to be shit?
