Making up fake outrage to point to as an egregious example of a real problem which trivializes the real problem to an outside observer and makes it seem like you don’t have an actual argument but are rather raging for the sake of feeling offended.

Not to mention, to the person making this argument, this is an affirmation to you that the others are “that bad” despite this not being an example and would most likely being an extreme version of the behavior you’re actually mad about.

    .

All of this is the type of arguments reddit takes against the supposed “male rape culture” that you made fun of them for. Do you see the parallels?

  • That’s the real fear of AI. Not that it’s stealing art jobs or whatever. But that all it takes is for a politician or business man to claim something is AI, no matter how corroborated it is and throw the whole investigation for a loop. It’s not a thing now, because no one knows about advanced AI (except for internet bubbles) and it’s still thought that you can easily differentiate images, but imagine even 5 years from, or 10.

  • Am I crazy or is 53% not a wild number? For one thing, I play multiplayer games all the time but I much prefer my best single player experience to my best multiplayer experience I would absolutely identify as preferring single player games despite probably playing more multiplayer games.

For another thing, 53% is pretty low, about half of gamers prefer single player. If anything that number should be higher cause I bet the amount of single player games dwarfs multiplayer games (this also would include single player campaigns in multiplayer games).
