  • I’m only commenting on the Steam refund part. That’s crazy to me, of all places to return games. The most relaxed has been Steam and never had any issues with them. Even if waiting a month, they normally only care how long you played it, which I think is supposed to be less than 2 hours. For comparison, I tried returning a PS5 game and was immediately denied because they claim as soon as the game is launched once they will not accept it back, which is awful.

That sucks they denied you. It really sounds like they should have let you return it.

They did, I was about to say the same thing! I had to buy an adapter to make it work right. This was like mid to late 2000’s. I work in IT for a company and didn’t want to spend money on a new PC yet so I snagged one from work that was no longer used. It got the job done, but yeah it was crazy to see what they did to make it so you couldn’t swap or change some things inside.

  • Last week I had to leave on a road trip. I had to drive 11 hours somewhere, and to make the best time, I was leaving around midnight. So I was going to bed at 5 pm to be well rested. Now, any other day of the week, I have no problems falling asleep at this time if I have the chance. Normally, I can barely keep my eyes open since I have 2 young kids and work till 5 pm and will fall asleep easily if given the chance. This time? Nope, nothing, just me staring at the ceiling for 5 hours, realizing I was screwed… luckily, I had another driver and was able to cover 5 hours still before getting too tired… I even tried playing a phone game that puts me out if I play it for longer than 10 minutes. Let’s just say I never played it for over an hour before! The body sucks sometimes!

  • I stumbled on it by accident so I am not sure if it will be great, but it offered enough stuff that she wanted (I could care less about live tv!) That were going to give it a try. It’s called frndly tv and looks like it’s $10 a month or $8 if you pay for the year. It has a week trial so I guess we’ll see if it’s decent. The other one we saw was Philo but I think that was $25 and offered more channels but nothing more that we wanted that the first option didn’t have. Neither offer local channels which is why we’re also getting Peacock as well.

  • Yeah, bring the features… I think in the 4 years of being with Hulu they only had 1 redesign but still no new features and definitely never fixed any of the bugs that have been here forever. I really wanted to see some improvements to more 4k content and feature some of the live tv broadcasts in 4k but nope.

I finally canceled the over priced live tv and today’s the last day before it’s gone. $85 bucks a month is just not worth it. Found another service that offers a lot of channels for $8 a month and my wife only wants 1 local station so $7 for that. Knocking $85 down to $15 is a big win. I don’t think I will be the only one if they really think they can raise prices like that. Glad I’m done with them.
