Who cares what Fred Hermel thinks XD
The Original Ronaldo is recognised universally as perhaps THE best striker in the Modern era of football,
This guy can chat all he wants,
Doesn’t change the fact the The Original Ronaldo was and is a once in a life time talent.
“Xhaka like improvement”?
Not sure who proposed that type of “redemption arc” for Kai tbh,
Personally I dont see the parallels or comparisons between these two VERY different players.
I’m happy to give him time, his “career” at chelski has nothing to do with The Arsenal.
That club is a joke and always will be, We aren’t them nor will we ever be.
I think overall It might be Giroud,
He pretty much had it all in terms of what we needed from a striker,
And at times scored or was involved in scoring some amazing goals for Arsenal.
I really hope this man can shut the haters up ASAP,
Clearly has something to off on AND off the ball,
positional play is good, always seems to find himself in the “proper” spaces, BUT yet to capitalise on those moments,
When it clicks he will be a breath of fresh air for us,
And in years to come we will sing,
“£65 mil? WE RIPPED CHELSKI OFF” XD
RW - Currently It’s Saka, But Historically I’d say Theo Walcott did his best in that position,
That team was a mess at the best of times with Papa Wengz having to chop and change so much within that team both in terms of moving people into positions they aren’t “naturally” good at and in terms of team formations to fit them in.
LW - Currently Martinelli, but Historitcally Id say Sanchez, He looked like a man possessed at times, totally commited to scoring no matter what, and at times ACTUALLY pulled it off.
Shame how it ended for him, glad we got to see the little magic he had left to give before things went totally down hill.
DID YOU JUST PREDICT THE FUTURE!!!
STATUE INBOUND <3
Everytime this amazing person speaks about his love for Arsenal, I can’t help but Respect him more and more,
AND to know Arsenal In his words, showed him the same love, means ALOT to me,
It’s nice to know Arsenal doesn’t discard those who have served it with class, respect and honour!
COYG <3
Now you KNOW Arteta’s gonna play him at LB XD
29D Chess Here we come :)
You can’t,
If you use stats then use stats but that doesn’t give you the WHOLE picture, just a numerical one in a specific sample size,
The “eye test” also doesn’t give you ALL of the picture,
Just a personal bias based on your preferred playing style and the type of football you like to watch/ admire.
IF you could Compare Original Ronaldo to Henry for example then football has lost it’s magic IMO,
Roberto Carlos and Cafu weren’t the same type of defenders,
Nor was Keown compared to Tony Adams!
It’s about Eras and the rules in which the players played, the situations in which they could thrive and the types of football systems they were told to play in.
I guess going some ways back,
Somebody like Giovanni van bronckhorst!
Went on to have a decent career and time at Barca after leaving us,
Always wonder what would of been if he had stayed longer with us,
Quality player IMO.
It’s ok,
We know how didtatorships work,
The people can’t speak freely and GOD FORBID IF they do, they will get punished, threatened with whatever will work, just as long as nobody says a damned word against them!
The house of cards will fall soon!
Yes most players are well documented in their regret of leaving this special club,
I do believe this is a special club,
It’s supported Countless groups within society even when their own social groups have rejected them,
We all know the records we have set, both in the Mens, Womens, Gay and Lesbain groups,
And I for one am Proud of it,
However Once you leave Arsenal and in the manner in which Cesc did,
There is no coming back,
Lehmann came back, Sol came back, Kind Henry Came back,
I wonder why Papa Wengz was so hurt by Cesc that he refused to have him back?
We all know the story, I dont need to go through it again,
It hurts then and it STILL hurts now,
Papa Wengz looks at him like a Son, He played with the Invincibles FFS,
Nah, You aint got no legeacy here my friend,
Thank you and I am glad you had a great career with FCB and CFC but you aren’t a legend at The Arsenal, Not by a long shot.
Focus on Como, I wish you all the best, sincerely,
BUT KEEP MY CLUBS NAME OUT YOUR GOD DAMNED MOUTH!!!
I think the overall choice would be Sagna,
Based on the criteria you chose and based on the consistency factor,
I’d say it’s fair to say Sagna gets a fair shout.
Great stuff,
Couldn’t love this man any more than I alreay do,
Even when he know’s he’s not first choice,
He still act’s with class and respect!
COYG!!!
Best Keeper during the Emirates era since 2010?
in terms of skills and IMO who I like(d) the most,
Leno (I’m bias towards German Goalkeepers :) )
Had some great moments for us, especially that late save from Villa when Pepe sadly lost possession and I was thinking " Here we go again"!!!
And the Crazy ciggy smoker that was and is Szczesny,
His celebration when we beat Barca was the Gif of a lifetime for me XD
Arsenal Vs FC Barca Champions League Final,
Years later the Ref admitted he had made a mistake in the instant sending off of Jens Lehmann,
Lord have mercy upon my soul,
Still makes me think what could of been.
IF THIS is what “poor form” looks like then Please may it continue,
The haters are doing their job, let them hate,
We can sit back and relax, knowing Our Son is out there doing his thing and making us proud!
VAMOS!!!
