1 year ago“Good” is subjective. He is struggling to get a satrter role in F…C. Barcelona, a team that curently its struggling by itself. So far, this season, he has failed to impress me one bit. Last one he did had flashes, but he is to young and has so little trayectory to tell if he is good, IMO.
Odegaard has played for six [6] professional teams; he has only delivered in 1 of them. People calling him “one of the best in the world”, clearly only watch Premier League. He is superb with Arsenal, but as a Real Madrid, Vitesse, Real Sociedad and Norway national team player, he is subpar. I watched him when Norway faced Spain [a real opponent]: lost in the field, unable to driblble or link up to Haaland/Sorloth.
Erling is one of, if no the best player in the world, no doubt. He has proved himself again and again. Football sometimes has this kind of things: Sweeden had its most recen success…right when Ibra wasnt playing for them.
