I live in the Bay Area. I rarely see masks.
In defense of flight attendants, I had a super rough go of understanding anyone during Covid. I tend to read lips to an extent which I never really noticed until everyone was wearing a mask. Sometimes I have a bit of an auditory processing delay, and I was supplementing it by reading lips.
A guy I went to HS with did it in '05 on Halloween. Ironically also dressed as 50 cent which is supposedly what this guy was going for (the guy from my HS pulled it off way better tank top, bulletproof vest, doo rag and in shape vs whatever this guy was going for) The kid was fairly popular, and had a lot of black friends that gave him the OK to do it. No one really cared. If anything people couldn’t believe it was him because he pulled it off so well. That guy can never get into politics now though, as I’m sure someone would dig up that photo.
You know what? My sister has early hearing loss and now wears hearing aids. I’ve never thought about it, but honestly, the modern hearing aids could absolutely be used as an espionage device. They are hardly noticeable, Bluetooth enabled, and have microphones in them. I’m sure the post in the OP was an innocent civilian, but I genuinely wonder if that’s something the letter agencies have considered and / or do with informants.
Google lens is a thing
Never have I ever eaten lobster
You’re right. Next time I should just let business daddy Delta take my $700. I can’t believe I was so foolish to call them on their bullshit.
Side note. Please don’t rent your modem / router through Comcast or any other ISP. They are so cheap now. If the ISP is charging even $5 / month, (I think it’s more now but back when I bought mine, I believe that’s what they were charging) that’s $60 / year. A modem is $50 for a decent DOCSIS 3.0 that supports gig speed. Routers are not that expensive either, and very easy to set up. If you buy the hardware, it’s a one time expense. The rentals you are paying for in perpetuity.
Just had to deal with this with Delta. They moved my flight to a way shittier route. When they do that or make significant schedule changes, you can get your money back even on the “non refundable” tickets. I cancelled and opted for a full refund. Delta sent an email that they were refunding my card. 2 weeks goes by, and no refund. I had to call, lie about the reason for my call so I could get to a human because any time I said what I actually was calling for it would kick me to an automated system that couldn’t solve my problem. I think I said I was buying a ticket or something. Then after 45 minutes hold time, get transferred, to another 15 minute hold. Eventually got to talk with someone and got my money back, but FFS, 3 weeks and a 1+ hour phone call to fix their fuck up is ridiculous.
I swear it already was, and fell off like a lot in recent months?
How is she relevant to young voters. Isn’t she like 100?
I believe since it’s an 80’s theme, you have to call him a slur and kick his dad’s ass.
I miss my old HTC thunderbolt. Removable storage, IR blaster, removable battery. Phones while they have gotten faster, and the software /cameras improved, the actual phones design has gotten so much worse over the years.
The 1st one was pretty good. Never played the 2nd
Wild. My bank has had my mom’s address for years and never said anything. I haven’t lived there for like 10 or more years. The way I see it, it’s a way more permanent address. She owns that home, and I rent and have moved 5 times in that time. They are much better off with the one they have.
You’d be shocked how many of my coworkers use company phones and computers as if they were personal devices both during off time and office hours.
Yeah, totally reasonable for prices to double, and rates to triple and then housing prices stay at elevated levels and never dip with higher rates. I for one welcome our wall street over landlords with open arms.
I’m going full old man yells at cloud here, but here goes. I have no problem with E-bikes. They are great, green modes of transportation. Having said that, they are motorized, and imo basically an electric Vespa. To ride one you should be required to be licensed in the state. I see a bunch of 12 -15 year old boys ripping these through the park. Imo this is wildly irresponsible parenting, and going to cause a ton of broken bones and deaths. Kids treat these as toys and have 0 regard for the law. I have seen far too many near collisions when taking my kids to the local park. I think (don’t quote me on this) you don’t need to be licensed for E-bikes and they are treated the same as bicycles here. I’m just assuming because I’ve seen cops look the other way. When I was a kid, go-ped scooters with 2 stroke engines were all the rage among this age group, and eventually the law caught up and I stopped seeing kids riding them. Now it’s the same with E-bikes. I get that kids in this age group want some kind of transportation to go hang out and all, but it’s dangerous having underage, unlicensed people operating them.
I recently was scrolling through doordash or Uber eats and saw that Home Depot was a choice. Out of genuine curiosity, I went and looked at if they had lumber for sale. Sure enough you can buy 4x4s that are 20 ft long. I was very tempted to try and order one to see what the doordash driver would even do with it.
