Everton are cheating bastards and would’ve been relegated had they not kept players they should’ve sold to reach the FFP regulations. This led to clubs like Leeds, Leicester, Burnley and Southampton to be relegated instead of them. What if all the clubs in the bottom would have bought players for money that they didn’t have? Where would Everton have ended up? What if Leeds had not sold Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha to meet FFP regulations? Had they known that the sales of these two players would cost them their Premier League status I’m sure they had refused to sell them that year and screwed up their finances but most likely stayed up and got the money from the revenue of playing in the PL.
Everton should have more than 10 minus points though as these points won’t lead to them being relegated. Hopefully Leeds, Burnley and Leicester win in court against the scouser bastards and sue them for £100m each and Everton falls deeper and deeper in the leagues.
Cheating bastards!
Instead of points deducted it should be that a team that has violated the financial rules should start the first 10 games of the season with a 0-2 advantage for the other team + no attendance for their first five home games. If your financial violation took you to a European spot you have to start the first 10 games with a 0-3 advantage the other team. By giving -10 points like they did to Everton is a joke as they have a lot of chances to make this 10 points “go away” in the reminder of the season. But to implement 0 point deduction but a 0-2 advantage to the other team it will take a lot for the team to have many points at the end of the 10 first games and then they only have 28 games left to go.
