People in their 20s are perfectly capable adults. They are not harmed by consensual sex with people older than them. There is not a shred of evidence that folks over 30 are somehow dangerous or have magic brainwashing powers that they use for evil :-D

The difference between a kitten and a cat is puberty. The difference between a puppy and a dog is puberty. The difference between a child and an adult is puberty. This is simple science. It is not hard. We become adults in our early to mid-teens. #BasicBiology

On the subway, I’m like “Is that dude 8 years old? or 38? I really can’t tell. Children all look alike.” but there’s no way anyone would ever think a 38 year old is 45 or vice versa. Those are like different species.
Ask people who were born in the 60s and 70s who they were dating when they were 16 or 20. My experience is not unique at all. It’s all over pop culture too. Attitudes toward young adults (aka teens) were very different and much healthier back then.
Young women are free to date whoever they want. That is a great thing. Bodily autonomy. It’s something to celebrate.
