Interesting to note we’re producing less xG in attack and conceding less xG in defence, despite the general sense that Ange is less pragmatic and more daring than Conte. The eye test, and my own observation, seem to directly disagree with the underlying stats.

One of the things I’ve appreciated about Vicario is he’s been hung out to dry a few times by our defense and he’s made the save and then just got up and cheered himself and got pumped. I’ve never really seen a keeper react that way regularly when he’s been left in a bad spot
How am I reading it wrong? which direction is the line moving?
