As soon as AEW started to showcase Toni Storm in black and white and the others in color, I waited for a shot like this. And it didn’t disappoint.

Don’t worry they’ll push EVIL and the House of Torture, because that it what the people want to see. /s
This fucking sucks. All the best to him.
Yep, that was me. Me and my friends somehow got tickets for Bash in Berlin and the SmackDown tapings next year. I’ll try to post a recap for that too.
My personal highlight this year was going to All In in London from Germany. Disgusting expensive four days in London, but worth every penny. Went to the Revolution Pro Anniversay Show on the day before All In to to see Will Osprey vs. Shingo Takagi and was blown away by that show, with suprise appearance by Skye Blue, Mickey James and Chris Jericho and whole lot of RevPro and NJPW talent.
All In was spectacular, the atmosphere was crazy. Beeing surrounded by nearly 80.000 wrestling fans is something I will never forget. I wish I had a better view though, the action in the ring is hard to follow if you’re sitting to far away.
The downside of the weekend was the trip back home. Monday after All In the air traffic control in the UK broke down, my flight got canceled, had to reschedule onto the next day just to get it canceled again. So I had to spent two extra days in London and had to take the train to Brussels, from Brussels to Cologne and form Cologne to Berlin. Luckily the airline had to cover all the additional expenses.
The WWE House show in Berlin was also very good.
And now some general thoughts: AEW: I wish AEW would feature more women than just Toni Storm, Skye Blue, Julia, Willow, Saraya, Ruby Soho and Hikaru Shida. One match per show is is not enough. On the plus side though, Julia has really improved a lot since joining the House of Black. Orange Cassidy has really one me over with his first title rain as International Champion, even though I think it was a little too long.
NJPW: Eddie Kingston in the G1 was really fun to see. Lowlight of NJPW for me was EVIL stealing Sanadas belt and proclaiming himself champion. House of Torture is such a trainwreck that I usually skip their matches. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time to watch NJPW regularly.
And in TNA he will be used. My biggest gripe with AEW is the big roster, that you will always see the same big names on Dynamite, Collision and Rampage.
I want him to retire and live the rest of his life in peace and happiness and without health problems. But I also think that wrestling and commentating is what makes him happy, it’s not just a job for him, it is passion. So I will gladly listen to his rumblings when he’s back at the announcers table, because, as you said, one day he won’t be there anymore.
So let’s hope that this fateful day will be a long time away.
That’s exactly what is going through my mind.
Dude, I thought the same. Unthought everyone was exhausted after the PPV and took a break until Wednesday
I was laughing so hard when I saw that. Such a little detail made a this jobber match a thing to remember.
All the best to you. Get healthy and heal up.
I will miss Kevin Kelly and I won’t. During this years G1, when Chris was also on commentary, he was at its best. But without Chris and the whole show on his own, I really began to loathe his commentary and switched to the Japanese one. Kelly without a partner he can bounce back and forth with isn’t as good as he can be.
Put in the Hollywood Hunk and I’m game.
Honestly if I were Emma i wouldn’t go to AEW. If your name is not Toni Storm, Ruby SoHo, Saraya, Skye Blue, Dr. Britt Baker (DMD), Hikaru Shida or Willow Nightingale, your chance to make it to the one women’s match per show is pretty rare.
He is one of mine. Granted, I haven’t seem he wrestle but he supports unions. And that is a big plus on my side, so I’ll will root for him whenever he steps in the ring.
Poor Suzuki, I don’t think he realizes what’s he’s going up against.
While it really sucks that Mox got hurt, it also shows a lot of sportsmanship from him. Putting Fenix over was the right decision. I bet that Mox didn’t knew how bad or not bad he was injured, but still called the audible to put the belt on Fenix.
I hope he recovers quickly to give us a run with the International Championship belt that is worthy as the Orange Cassidy run.
I would add Ziggler as a maybe. His brother is already there and he is a decent enough mid carder for having fun matches on TV.
On the other hand, the AEW is still bloated enough, that even with Dynamite, Rampage and Collision (and RoH) not every employed wrestler can be featured
I have been to several Project Nova Wresling shows in Germany. They mostly feature new and upcoming wrestlers from Germany and Europe. They also upload their shows with a delay to YouTube, but I guess with german commentary only.
The El Desperado vs. Sho match was hands down the worst match of the night.
