AMD rumored to use 'slow' 18Gbps GDDR6 in RDNA 4 — leaker says Team Red's next generation GPUs won't use GDDR7
  • I'm on PCIe 3 AND DDR3. My Z77 & i7-3770K will NEVER DIE!

Did I mention I'm also game using the integrated graphics HD4000? Trying to optimize a game for 30fps 720p is already half the fun. Currently OC the shit out of that poor piece of silicone. 4.5Ghz all core (default 3.7} and 1.4Ghz graphics core (default 800Mhz). Imma squeeze every last bit of performance I could.

I paid for a CPU with Tj Max 105C, you bet Imma run it at 105C

Zelensky: Ukraine draft age lowered because younger generation fit, tech-savvy
  • He lowered the minimum age from 27 to 25. What a monster.

It's not like his country is at war or at risk of being invaded by one of the world's biggest military power or anything, right?

Am I the only one who's sick of the isekai?
  • I'm sick of TRASH Isekai, not all Isekai. There's still a good and original Isekai every now and then, but those are rare. Most of them are just fan service, harem bullshit.

Proton Pass open source password manager is now available on F-Droid
  • In terms of "Free version", what would be better? What would you recommend if I were to use one as Premium (daily use) and the other as Free (for backup purpose)?

Proton Pass open source password manager is now available on F-Droid
  • Wow thanks, I have no idea. That's great news. I'll definitely wait for the native app. But in the meantime I'll try out Proton as a "backup" just in case something bad happens to Bitwarden or my personal vault.

Proton Pass open source password manager is now available on F-Droid
  • I'm tech illiterate and been using Bitwarden for 3 years (premium), and honestly it doesn't work very well on Android. Every time I need to enter a password, it's completely hit-or-miss with Bitwarden. Half of the time it doesn't even pop up. I'm using Xiaomi phone and tablet with stock rom (global version).

    Should I switch to Proton?

Negative electricity prices registered in nearly all European energy markets
  • Came from a shit hole country, I can't comprehend what is the meaning of "negative electricity price".

If the electric company set a price on electricity, let say $0.2/KWh. What stopping them from keep charging that price no matter what's the electric production at the moment. They can even rise price when demand is high, and keep a fixed price when demand is low.

Chromium Manifest V3 Explained for Toddlers
  • Every other month, YT update something that break Revanced.

So I just went to the Revanced app to see what's the newest recommended version of YT to download and patch. Then a quick reinstall and everything is back to normal. Don't even have to re-login.

Been doing that for over a year. Imo, the native app's experience is always a thousand times better than the mobile web browser.

Chromium Manifest V3 Explained for Toddlers
  • Revanced doesn't require root. You download the Revanced app from official site then open it and choose YouTube. It'll tell you what's the latest recommended version of YT to use. You download that exact version from APKpure. Use Revanced to patch the YT app (I just use default) and install. That's it. No root.

Also it requires their new Revanced Gapps package if you want to login to YT (it'll ask and point you to download link if you don't have it)

Android 15 will run Bluetooth with your phone still turned off.
  • Didn't iPhone been doing it for years so you can still track your lost phone even if it's turned off?

But this is Android, I'm sure there'll be work around if you don't want it. Personally I think it could be helpful.
