I have a dozen drives from them ranging from 8-18TB and yet to have one fail, the older 8TB drives being maybe 8 years old now. Reach out to them and find out if they are going to have any more holiday sales - I’ve found better deals better than Black Friday on electronics well into December.

Black Friday has mostly been a scam for a long time now. Companies have low stock on the good items to drawn you in and sell you the crappier stuff that they’ve got a bigger margin on. I’ve found as good or better deals throughout the year compared to BF/Cyber Monday.
