I genuinely do not know the answer, was Man City considered a big club before the oil money? I thought they were kind of mediocre also-rans.

Thank you very much. (you see what i did there? Your flair. Eh? Eh?)
I’ve had this thought for a while now. I feel kind of silly sharing this but for some reason i also feel like i want to share it. I don’t mean to sound overly dramatic but life has been a bit challenging for me over the last year or two. There have been times where i wasn’t at my best mentally. (this is where i feel a bit silly——>) One of the biggest things that has helped me during my off periods has been Arsenal Football Club. Watching the team play well for sure, but also looking forward to the games, staying connected to this subreddit, listening to Arseblog and Handbrake Off podcasts. Just feeling like I’m part of the club in a way, but mainly just part of the Arsenal community. I have grown to really love our club in a way that i just didn’t 3-4 years ago and this has been a good thing. Thank you fellow gooners.
Easy there Professor. That’s my Big Gabi you’re slandering. What a horrible take.
