Foi a primeira obra da Clarice que eu toquei. Confesso que demorei pra conseguir ler - muitas vezes peguei o livro, li algumas páginas e acabei largando; nunca consegui passar do prolongado monólogo de Rodrigo S.M. (na verdade Clarice) sobre sua vida e sua relutância em escrever o livro. Eu achava essa parte desnecessária e ansiava pelo verdadeiro início da história.
Bem, li o livro agora e vejo o quão importante essa parte foi. O narrador Rodrigo S.M. não se limita a somente narrar os fatos, mas constantemente opina e comenta sobre a história - seja pra rechaçar a protagonista, para demonstrar a ela afeto ou até para falar sobre suas semelhanças com ela. Evidentemente Clarice se espelhou em Macabéa de uma forma ou outra. E falando em Macabéa, tantas páginas de caracterização da personagem valeram a pena, raramente eu me simpatizo tanto com um personagem quanto eu me simpatizei com Macabéa e sua história tragicômica. Clarice Lispector tem um jeito muito peculiar de escrever, o qual leva tempo para se acostumar, mas toda essa estranheza vale a pena no fim. Clarice transforma palavra em arte, sua língua é popular e flúida, mas ao mesmo tempo carrega consigo um leque imensurável de emoções. É uma leitura estranha a princípio, mas que com certeza valeu a pena.

Love Metallica's first few albums but honestly fuck them and what they've become. Went from a really solid thrash band to a million-dollar business with subpar dad rock and shitty titles like Don't Tread on Me. They go against everything thrash metal (and metal in general) was supposed to be.
And the direction Megadeth went, while not as bad, is still rlly disappointing. Dave could've been one of the coolest figures in metal but instead he became a right-wing conservative.
