I don’t think it should have been a foul, but I can see why it’s given and I can also understand why on-field decision should not be overturned unless egregiously wrong

I love Balotelli more than most and I’ve always held an interest in his career arc. He is sometimes disappointing, but never uninteresting. I 100% believe the follies of his youth have led him to be wise and insightful. Unfortunately I think he will only ever be seen as the physical embodiment of a meme by the press but those embarrassments of the past seem to have really crafted him into a humble and mature guy
