This one had so many potential winners and it’s just how agendas and preferences change. Messi had a fantastic league + domestic cup campaign and was the best statistically. Ronaldo was as always a beast in the UCL with those clutch moments. Modric equally won the UCL and had an excellent World Cup + POTT. Mbappe was a phenomenon and also had a great World Cup. While Griezman had a good mixture of good Europa League and World Cup performances as well as scoring in the final like Mbappe. In my opinion, the most worthy winners were either, Modric, Messi or Ronaldo but you could have made a case for any of the top 5 to be deserved winners
