Just because you can cherry pick a dozen articles from the last TEN YEARS about NATO and Ukraine doesn’t make you right.

I don’t even need an article to refute all of that - Russia attacked a neighbor unprovoked, NATO has attacked NOBODY ever.

That is a crazy take. Europe could spend some money and help Ukraine win this without losing any of their own soldiers’ lives.

He’s wrong of course, Europe’s economy is many times stronger than Russia’s. The real question is if they can find the collective will to defend themselves.

Trump’s policy was just juicing the system for short term gain which can go on for quite a while in good times but when you’re at 0% interest already at the START of a pandemic and economic crisis it’s obvious you’ve been much too irresponsible with the economy.

It’s as simple and difficult as finding common ground with many of the various groups on the left. I think there IS a cause that we can all agree on - wealth inequality because it’s the cause and/or symptom of most of the other problems we champion - and we need to unite behind that so we can be an electoral force. There are enough of us if we voted together.

Quite the contrary. If Trump gets elected, Europe finally needs to realize they can’t rely on the US and take their own steps to ensuring their security. It should have happened after 2016 really, which makes me skeptical anything will convince them.
