1 year agoIf you look at the history of financial related points deductions, it’s usually because of debt or non-payment. It’s unlikely for City to have any points deducted because their breaches have been the opposite.

Everton published their massive losses (nearly 372 million which is 3x over the threshold). Manchester City are being investigated over allegedly not providing accurate information. They made 300 million from the treble prize money itself.

Everton reported losses up to 3x the accepted limit (375 million) while City made 300 million last year alone from the treble prize money. It’s unlikely for City to have any points deducted because their breaches have been the opposite (not providing accurate financial information). Moreover, some of the allegations are absolutely nonsense and not even related to FFP— they include breaches like grass length being too long etc.
They’ll probably get a fine, squad reduced and transfer limitations like done earlier by UEFA (PSG also got the same sanctions).
