1 year agoNow at Inter and Italy you have Frattesi and Barella, of course Frattesi is not yet world class but is very talented and young. They are extremely similar, which is a shame because they are in the same club vying for the same role.
There was a time when in Italy we had 3 of our best players ever with some overlap at the same time, and while they were not THAT similar, they played the same role.
Baggio, Del Piero, and Totti.
Where are you from? What teams like Switzerland, Sweden and Austria “do” is playing for their fans in the biggest stage representing their nation, and doing well at that.
As you highlighted this teams, Switzerland in the last euros didn’t lose to any semi-decent team in the round of 16. They eliminated the world champions France and then proceeded to take Spain to penalties.
Probably made a lot of people happy.
