People compare Havertz and Mount, Arteta at least knows what he’s doing with Havertz whether you agree or disagree with him. He’s trying to get the best out of his signing whereas bald fraud has no idea why he signed the likes of Mount, Antony, Malacia, etc etc

ETH wanted De Jong. When he couldn’t get De Jong he wanted Rabiot. We don’t know who else was there on his list that he wanted, but we were desperate for a midfielder that’s for sure…
Who was really pushing so hard for Mount, was it Ten Hag, or was it a United / Murtough signing? With how bad our transfer policy has been I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Mount or TBC, maybe no-one at the beginning of the window… and I would imagine ETH thought with a full pre season he’d be able to get Mount firing (which has obviously not happened).
