He is good in both. The advantage that both Jesus and Trossard have over Nketiah is that they are comfortable playing multiple positions.

He’s literally on camera saying he fancies that freedom because his strengths are exploiting tight spaces behind the striker.
He’s worse when he’s confined to one rigid role.
His best highlights are him showcasing his ability to manoeuvre in those tight spaces.
And rice is on camera saying he prefers the 6 to 8, but he’s playing Xhaka’s 8 far more often. Doesn’t matter where they prefer, it matters what’s best for the team. Trossard is better than Eddie by miles, so he needs to play there until Jesus comes back.
