From what i know they seem to be a pan-European “democratic socialist” party that aims to reform the EU. Doesn’t sound very convincing to me but im interested in what your opinion on them is
I prefer an anti-EU stance, but if there isn’t one next EU election I could vote for Diem25. I do have some admiration for their reform plans
I‘m not sure what you would consider to be an anti-EU stance: that could mean any number of things.
DiEM25 has an anti-EU-as-it’s-currently-constructed stance because the EU in its current form is fundamentally antidemocratic.
I’ve never heard of them until now
Yanis is a smart guy but he had his shot at power and bent over for the troika, I wouldn’t trust him given what he did as greek finance minister and Diem25 is his project.
They seem to be a better option than most.
Varoufakis’ books Talking To My Daughter About The Economy and Another Now are both excellent reads.
