The team that wins the throw in should have an advantage but is actually at a disadvantage in many cases as they have one less player to fight for the ball after the throw in. This constantly slows the game down.

    You’re just showing yourself up. Wenger has set about trying to find a way to improve on throw ins because they are currently not giving any advantage to the team in possession in 80% of positions.

      To me it’s just a simple loss of possession. Why should that give the other team such a large advantage when them regaining possession alone is an advantage? I don’t think losing the ball out of touch should be penalized severely. Other team has a good opportunity to win back possession, good enough.
