The team that wins the throw in should have an advantage but is actually at a disadvantage in many cases as they have one less player to fight for the ball after the throw in. This constantly slows the game down.

I agree. They should relocate the ball to the nearest outside of the box for a dead ball situation…and have an arm wrestle. Winner takes the free kick.
