They’ll just say ‘we can’t prove the ball was in or out’ and ‘we can’t get an angle to see if the goal scorer is offside’. The problem is more that they can’t answer those kinds of questions, which is the point of VAR.
In terms of referee communication, I’d be far more interested in hearing what they had to say about Bruno’s violent conduct on Jorginho which by the textbook wording was a red card.
By playing this audio without the context of the Bruno non-calls it makes Arteta look worse. Those non-calls were obviously part of the reason he was so riled up.
