I don’t get what Deschamps was babbling about Saliba not playing enough for France, that he doesn’t have the same mentality etc. You already qualified you doofus. Doesn’t even hurt to get him to play. But then again, it’s good that he doesn’t since there’s no risk of an injury. Still a stupid thing to say.

I dont know what botched translation you heard but when he was talking about saliba not playing many games & mentality shift from arsenal to france he was making excuses for him. He was defending saliba from the ongoing journalist narrative that he wasn’t performing well enough for france.
