Does the rest of Europe and the world dislike international breaks as much as we do in England ?
I was having this discussion with friends and I think it directly correlates with the quality of the league of your country.
For example Spain England Germany will dislike them as they would prefer to see their clubs playing , but for Croatia their national team is better than their club teams so they enjoy it.
I could be totally wrong so please let me know !
Here in the Philippines it means I do not need to stay up late, but I also miss out on nights with fans having fun. And since we’re a “minority” in that there are few football fans here in general, we already are starved for that fandom contact as it is.
