I normally see the likes of Ronaldo, 2013 or Andriy Shevchenko, 2004 are rated as the most underdeserving Ballon dor winners.

I see this brought up a lot and it’s so annoying. I’m from Spain but Messi rightfully won the trophy that year, he was unplayable and was the best player by a MILE in that Barca side. The issue is that Xavi and iniesta are two players so their votes got split, if it was just one of them then you can argue for them winning it. Imo neither of them were even the best performer for Spain in that WC, it was either David Villa or Casillas.

I haven’t said that Messi didnt deserve trophy in 2010. I mean he didnt deserve trophy in 2023. He won WC but he wasn’t in form throughout whole season.

I got used to stupid choices of journalists ;)

Anyone who think that Ballon d’Or choices are fair and anyone who waits for that day and live it like an Oscar’s awards day (which are also bull*it by the way) is just an idiot or a kid.

How it can be fair if argentinian journalist voted for 5 players from Argentina :D

And Martinez as the best goalkeeper in the world - i think its the biggest scam :D

He had the highest number of G/A all season (tied with Haaland). Where did that come from? Did he score 62 G/A in the WC? Didn’t he win several league trophies as well?
