Lets admit we all love passion merchants and every team has one, the glue guys who arent very gifted but through their grit, work rate and passion manage to win the hearts of fans (and the manager) so who is your team’s passion merchant this can also apply to your national team.
Lucas Vazquez is the definition of that. He is just decent/okay at many things on the pitch, but he isn’t really good at anything, except passion and workrate. When Real Madrid signed him in 2015 for 1M, he was supposed to be a 3rd-4th choice winger, I’m pretty sure he never expected to play over 300 games for them, winning 4 UCL titles and also getting some caps for Spain.
*Lord Vazquez
Best part is that he covers any position the coach asks him to play in, plus he’s ice cold when it comes to kicking the first penalty kick in a UCL final vs fiery rivals.
