If he is successful, he will get praise, but when the results start to dwindle, people will start to ask for new players/youngsters to get chance. The manager has his group though and is trusting that his group will turn it around and if he adds new players to the group, it’s done very carefully.
If the turnaround doesn’t happen and he gets fired, a new manager is appointed. The new manager gets praise for giving new players and youngsters a chance and so on…

There has been a lot of criticism against Jane the last couple of years from a lot of different persons regarding the old squad he uses.
This isn’t the first time young talents don’t get a chance. Many that have dual passports have chosen other countries teams to play for
This is exactly what happened with the danish team under Morten Olsen. Huge talent like Fischer and Andreas Christensen never got picked.
