People think that scrapping FFP will help the league. But in reality, it will make clubs spend beyond their spending and incur more debts.

This will be a bad thing for smaller clubs, who are trying to compete with big clubs.

The top 6 have rich owners, while clubs like city and New Castle united have states backing them up. They can spend as much as they want. Meanwhile, smaller clubs will not have the means to compete with them.

FFP is there to level up the ground and make sure lower clubs don’t bankrupt themselves. You can hate it as much as you want to, but without it alot of clubs will go bankrupt and even go in to administration.

How would it ″make clubs spend″?

That’s just silly, no it wouldn’t. How many clubs actually overspent to the point it caused them financial problems before FFP? I can think of Portsmouth and Leeds, that’s it. The vast majority of clubs don’t do that, with or without FFP. And even having FFP rules doesn’t preven financial issues, see Derby County.

Derby haven’t been in the PL since the rules were brought in, so how can they have had any impact on Derby?

Pretty much the entire championship is now owned by idiotic owners who are spending completely unsustainable amounts of money as far as FFP will let them to reach the premier league
