    I genuinely don’t understand their intentions with this kit as well as how they handled last season’s black kit stock availability in general.

    You would think that if they want maximum profits they should have ramped up the black kit production tenfold to cater to demand, then continue on the kit as a third kit this season or something

      Maybe Adidas just produce a set bulk amount and then say ‘here you go, now go out there and be sold’. The popularity of the black kit probably wasn’t expected otherwise they might’ve upped up the numbers at the start of production. Getting to the end of the season they probably didn’t bother producing more as they were moving to produce the next season’s kits. I agree tho, they could’ve had the black kit as the away one for a second season it was that well loved.

      The limited numbers for the women’s away kit is frustrating too - maybe Adidas were testing the water as it was the women’s bespoke kit and didn’t have enough faith to produce higher numbers, but the lack in availability for that for those that missed it is frustrating as well

      I’m still bitter about the black kit not being available. I haven’t bought a kit in years and really wanted that one. I was on the notification list for months and then the season ended and nothing.

        they only time they restocked the black kit was in december, thats it… lol. i ordered a saka jersey for christmas and the came with nothing on the back. and i live in australia so it takes like 2-3 weeks for it come. i finally got it late jan. useless

      The kits are made a long time in advance so it is hard to guess how many shirts will actually sell

      Was honestly baffling how they didn’t make more of the black shirt, don’t really buy football tops often and it was my own fault for wanting it so late into the season but I couldn’t find it anywhere, really makes you think how much money they missed out on especially with us looking like we were going to win the league for the majority.

    Website is poorly built and architecture needs massive improvements. I login to my membership account and when I go to checkout… it asks me to sign in again. That’s poor UI and process flow.

    Can’t for the life of me understand why the kits are so expensive on arsenal direct. 145 Canadian. But if I buy from another website, same kit, it’s only 99 Canadian. 130 for badges and print. But for the same kit with everything on arsenal direct it’s over 200 plus shipping, plus paying duties. About 300 for a replica kit. Get fucked.

    Adidas and Arsenal could have saved a ton of money by cutting production of the highlighter shirts and made a ton of money by making more of the black ones from last season
