This article misrepresents a key point about interest on the stadium not being counted as part of FFP.
While that is true, Everton initially declared that some (two if I remember correctly) of the loans they were taking out were for working capital, and then only later decided that we’re for interest on the stadium.
The former counts against FFP, the latter doesn’t. Rather suspicious in my personal opinion to suddenly change that after the fact, and clearly in the eyes of the panel too.
