I was sent a video from one of my mates that consisted of Portsmouth’s best Premier League goals. A player that popped up a few times in the video was Sulley Muntari, during that brilliant 07/08 season for Portsmouth, scoring banger after banger. He then left for Inter Milan the following season. I thought to myself he’s got to be up there for one of the best players to have only played one season in the Premier League…

…until I remembered he had a short loan spell at Sunderland in 2011.

So I’ve been wracking my brain thinking of who are the best players to have only played one season in the premier league? As in literally only played one season in the Premier League, no moving to another premier league team later on in their career (e.g Ravanelli) and no one season wonders who played slightly longer than one season (e.g Michu) and so far I just have…
