I’ve had an iPhone X for a while and I want a new phone because my current one is pretty slow and the battery life has gone to 60% because I used it too much. I’ve looked through the options and the Samsung S21 Ultra seems to be very good and it’s around $500. I wanna get one with exynos because snapdragon is too expensive for me. What should I know?

You should know it’s an amazing phone that will serve you for many years to come. Amazing cameras, display, speakers, processor holds up very well and the phone is still snappy, comes in 12 and 16gb of RAM, and since it’s the Exynos you’ll be able to custom ROM it later down the line. It’s the best value phone you can get for the price and a massive upgrade from the iPhone X in every way :D

All I know is it has a locked bootloader, if it can be custom ROMed it will probably have very little support. Most of not all Samsung phones (At least S series) only have ROMs for Exynos, maybe there’s some snapdragon ROMs out there but idk, I’d like if a more knowledgeable person would explain it tbh

Don’t get the exynos s21 ultra. I have it, it’s VERY big, unless you have large hands, you’ll have a difficulty handling it and it’s almost 3 years old now. Mine slows down and bugs out a little and it overheats so much when I’m calling.

I’m upgrading to s24 when it comes out. But the base version, I’m sick of big phones
